Written at the Forefront#
This article is written for myself, to commemorate and celebrate my eighteenth birthday and my high school graduation. I even started writing this article 16 months before my high school graduation, revising and editing it. At the beginning of this article's publication, it was not yet complete, but I still want to write down the endless splendor in my heart, regardless of whether they come to fruition. I hope more people can understand that, far away in the distance, there is a young man with another ideal world in his heart.
Ideal Continent#
In the distance, there is a bonfire burning for those who have waited long.
“Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence”
If I hadn't often gazed into the distance, I think I would have indeed rooted myself in the northwest inland.
Journey#
The tides rise and fall, washing over my heart. Moonlight spills over the harbor, leaving a vast expanse. The train repeats "clatter," I gaze into the distance, slowly repeating my excitement. One city after another makes me anxious, the southern land I long for, I have finally come to your side.Land#
When I grew tired of the desert, tired of the solitary smoke, tired of the streams, I yearned even more for the distance. Seeds planted in the yellow sand bloom under the eaves of the southern country.I once confided to the yellow earth, and I once wept to the Wei River, oh simple folks rooted in the northwest! Why do you live in this land, this barren yellow land, generation after generation, in endless cycles? "Young man! This is our hometown; it once flourished like the southern country, and barrenness is not insurmountable."
Not born upon the yellow earth. I am like Li Bai, leaving Shu, watching the great roc rise with the wind. I am also like Li Bai, never returning, hearing the sound of a jade flute flying softly from someone's home. But I ultimately left the yellow earth, carrying my billions of dreams.
Love#
Endless life, endless love, you are the warm sun, I am the harsh winter, I merge with you, blooming thousands of seasons. I stand beside you, the slanting sun stretches our story long, very long, long enough for a lifetime and another lifetime.Love is my affection for the southern country, and it is also my affection for you. You are the last gift the yellow earth sent me, you are the warm sun, you are hope, you are the April day of the human world. The evening breeze blows you and me towards the south, listening to the sounds of the tides rising and falling.
